Biblioteca Breve Award lies in the Mexican writer Elena Poniatowska



writer and painter Elena Poniatowska has won on Monday the Biblioteca Breve Prize, worth 30,000 euros, with Leonora's novel, inspired by the life the writer and surrealist painter Leonora Carrington, his turbulent love affair with Max Ernst, and his life adventure from the asylum where she was admitted to its way to New York and Mexico.
